Before leaving home…

Leave your travel itinerary – including flight numbers, dates and times, and hotel names and phone numbers – with a trusted neighbor or relative who lives nearby.

Make arrangements for pet care, lawn mowing and maintenance, and newspaper and mail pickup. It’s always a good idea to have back-ups for these services.

Advise your local Police Department that you will be traveling.

Make a list of a neighbor or relative’s phone numbers. Include your local police, back up numbers and other people you might need to contact. Carry copies of prescriptions and medical information.
